Makhachkala, January 25, 2012. The institutional stage of the Republican contest of pedagogical skills "My best occupation" among the continuing education teachers is held since December 20, 2011 till February 28, 2012 in Dagestan. The contest is organized by the Republican Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of students at the Ministry of Education and Science RD, Department for Continuing Education and the newspaper "Teacher of Dagestan".

The contest is designed to improve the quality of education system, to enhance the professional skills of teachers, to improve the scientific and methodological support of educational and training process, to identify and disseminate the best educational experience, to implement and disseminate modern technology in innovative educational practices and to promote the prestige of teachers’ profession.

The competition is held in two directions: technical creativity and artistic crafts. Each direction is subdivided into two stages. The competition results will be announced on April 12, 2012. The best works will be submitted to the All-Russian contest "My best lesson".
