Moscow, January 24, 2012. On January 13 in Moscow, the RF Ministry of Education and Science held the regular session of the Board to consider the package of measures aimed at modernization of general education system in the Russian Federation. As to the press service of the RD Ministry of Education and Science, the package of measures to modernize the general education system of the Republic of Dagestan had been submitted to the Board earlier on Jan. 19, 2012.

The session of the Board was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science RD N. Musalaeva, the Deputy Minister A.Osmanov, the rector of Dagestan Institute of Advanced Training of teachers I.Musaev and the chief specialist of the Ministry of Education and Science RD T. Khalilov.

The priority direction of work in 2012, taking into account the specifics of the general education system of the republic is the development of the network of educational institutions, as well as the maintenance of the average salary for teachers in the republic.

By results of the meeting the Board members of the Russian Ministry agreed on a package of measures to modernize the general education system in Dagestan in 2012 and offered to adopt its decision to the republican Cabinet.
