In February, the Fourth International Judo Tournament for the prizes of the Chairman of United Russia party V. Putin will be held in the Khasavyurt Sports Palace named after Gamid Gamidov. The press secretary of the town administration Nurmagomedov Nurmagomedov told the correspondent of RIA "Dagestan" that the organizing committee of the sports event was created. The committee adopted a specific plan for the preparation and carrying out of the tournament. The Minister of Physical Training and Sports RD Arsanali Murtazaliev presided over the meeting.

The President of Judo Federation of the town Ismail Dadayev noted that the tournament occupies one of the leading places in the sporting calendar of the International Judo Federation. The current tournament is held on the eve of a major political event - the election of the President of the Russian Federation. 8 teams of Russian regions and foreign countries will take part in the sports event.
