Makhachkala, September 3, 2011. Within the framework of preparatory work for the tenth International investment forum "Sochi-2011" Dagestan authorities prepared a solid investment portfolio. As to the head of the RD Agency for investments and foreign economic relations Ali Nurmagomedov, the republic will present 70 projects and offers worth 206,8 billion rubles, 29 from them received the status of the priority regional investment projects.

Traditionally Dagestan delegation will be led by the Head of the republic Magomedsalam Magomedov. Besides, the delegation structure includes the prime minister RD Magomed Abdulaev, his assistants, the other members of the government RD and the initiator of the large investment project the director general of the "Dagagrokompleks” Isak Umalatov.

According to Nurmagomedov, the volume of investments into the industrial branch of republican economy may exceed 60 billion rubles. In the industrial sector, in Nurmagomedov’s opinion, the most actual are the projects related to the organization of manufacture of sheet glass, empties, steel pipes, basalt fibers, sulfuric and nitric acids, solar elements, the concentrated mineral fertilizers, organization of commercial cars assembly and the firm household waste processing.

In the construction industry Dagestan presents 7 projects worth more than 20 billion rubles. In the fuel and energy complex it is planned to attract nearby 23 billion rubles.

Among the most expensive projects and offers in the field of tourist-recreational branch: is creation of the mounting skiing resort "Matlas" and "Novokayakent". The project cost on construction of a city-satellite "Lazurny bereg” (French Riviera) at the coast of Caspian Sea may exceed 150 billion rubles.

The agro industrial branch will be represented this time by the greatest quantity of projects (24 investment projects) for sum more than 58 billion rubles. One of the most appreciable offers is that the company "DagAgroCompleks" developed the priority program of development of agriculture with introduction of American technics and technologies. The basis of the project is the construction of sugar factory. One more significant project is the creation and development of Agrotechnopark "AgroDagItalia” on the basis of Italian agro modules.

The investment portfolio of Dagestan in the sphere of innovations costs 4.1 billion rubles.
