Makhachkala, September 23, 2011. On September 20, 2011 within the framework of the National Calendar of immunization the Republic of Dagestan received 305,000 doses of flu vaccine. The vaccine is distributed in the administrative districts and to start the vaccination campaign against the flu as soon as possible. It is planned to immunize more than 800 thousand people, including more than 400 thousand children.

The vaccination is the most effective method for prevention of influenza and the severe complications. Dagestan branch of the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service appeals to republican population not to give up and timely make immunization for themselves and children.
