Makhachkala, June 1, 2011. The conference of the All-youth public organization "Russian Union of Student Organizations (RUSO) was held in Moscow at the National Nuclear Research University "MIFI". The founding conference was attended by a representative of Dagestan - Magomedkamil Abdusamadov, the Chairman of the Committee for organizational work and development of students’ self-government at the faculties DSU. The idea of ​​creation of the Russian Union of Student Organizations is supported by Russia’s leadership and aims at uniting students’ organizations throughout the country.

The main initiators and sponsors of the project are the chairman of the Students’ Union of Moscow State University Andrei Andreianov and the Assistant to the State Duma deputy Alexei Koshelev. They voiced the idea at the meeting with the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

The initial meeting of the founding conference was devoted to discussion of the draft Charter of the organization. Each delegate was able to make adjustments to the draft document.

The representative of DSU Magomedkamil Abdusamad was unanimously elected to the Audit Commission of the public organization. The regional branch of the All-Russian youth organization RUSO will be based in Dagestan State University.
