The presentation of a documentary film “Alexandre Dumas in Dagestan” takes place in Moscow.

Moscow, April 5, 2011. On March 29, 2011, the presentation of a documentary film “Alexandre Dumas in Dagestan” of the editor of art broadcasting of RSBC "Dagestan" Elena Tagirova took place in the French Cultural Center in Moscow.

The First Counsellor of the Ambassador of France in Russia Vincent Falkoz and the First Secretary of the Embassy of France in Russia Ryut Rakuzin took part in the presentation.

The noted geographer and specialist on Russia and the Caucasus, the Director of the Franco-Russian Center for Social and Human Sciences Jean Radvani presided over the meeting.

The art director of RSBC "Dagestan" Ariza Batyrova told about the idea of this film, and about the series the documentary films "Well-known people in the history of Dagestan”, about cultural heritage of the Russian intelligentsia, well-known travelers, geographers, researchers in traditions, customs, culture of the peoples of the Caucasus.

In conclusion, the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Dagestan at the President of the Russian Federation Izumrud Mugutdinova thanked the French Embassy and the staff of the Franco-Russian Center for Social and Human Sciences for their cooperation.
