Makhachkala, December 1, 2011. On December 1 in Makhachkala, the National Center for Preventive Medicine held a competition for the best public health edition, dedicated to the World AIDS Day. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Public Health RD, the National Center for HIV and AIDS and infectious diseases, as well as the National Center for Preventive Medicine.

The competition was held in two categories: "Sanitary Bulletin" and "Poster". In the category "Sanitary Bulletin," a jury awarded the first municipal hospital № 1 of Makhachkala. The second place has been awarded to Chirkeyskaya district local hospital.

In the nomination "Poster" the winner is the central city hospital of Derbent. The municipal hospital of Khasavyurt was the second in the rating list.
