Makhachkala, June 30, 2010. On June, 30, the meeting of the Committee of the press and mass communications of Dagestan under the chairmanship of Umarosman Gadzhiev took place in Makhachkala. The President's Message to the People’s Assembly of Dagestan was discussed during the meeting.

Heads of the republican mass media and the head of the Office of the President for information Garun Kurbanov took part in it.

G. Kurbanov said: “Extremism and terrorism are the most important problems of our republic”.
He also said that for the first time the President spoke about development of mass media, development of modern telecommunications, broadcastings. “I think that the head of the republic understands importance of branch in which we work”.

The head of the Committee of the press and mass communications of Dagestan Umarosman Gadzhiev said that the President's Message would be translate into national languages.

The editor-in-chief of the Kumyk newspapers "Eldash" Kamil Aliev noted that the document was interesting and adequate. And we need professional government, People’s Assembly, Dagestan society, political, economic, spiritual elite for realization of these ideas.
