Makhachkala, October, 8, 2010. The last stage of preparation for elections was checked up today by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan Abdurashid Magomedov. It was noted at the meeting, that safety during elections on all the territory of the republic will be provided by 6 thousand policemen. 1 thousand policemen will be in a reserve on a case of occurrence of emergency situations.

From now on polling districts are taken under control. The representatives of cynological service work there. Chairmen of the territorial election committees of the Republic of Dagestan are under protection. All polling stations will be personally supervised by all deputy ministers.

The management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asks the citizens of the republic to understand the presence of metal detectors on polling stations.
