Makhachkala, October, 27, 2010. On October, 26, the solemn opening of a memorial plaque for the eminent statesman of the Republic of Dagestan Bagaudin Ahmedov took place in Makhachkala.

Bagaudin Ahmedov was one of the most educated persons of his time. He was a member of the State Council of the Republic of Dagestan in 2002-2006, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan in 1994-2002.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Dagestan Nizami Kaziev, members of the Government, heads of republic departments took part in the event.

Nizami Kaziev and the widow of B. Ahmedov opened the memorial plaque.

The Rector of the North Caucasian State Tax Institute Mahmud Magomedov, the member of the State Council of Dagestan Sajgidin Ramazanov, the member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ahmed Osmanov and others told those present about life of Bagaudin Ahmedov.
