Makhachkala, October, 1, 2010. The 37th session of the People’s Meeting of Republic Dagestan of the fourth convocation took place in Makhachkala. The President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov and members of the Government of Dagestan took part in the session. The Chairman of the People's Assembly of Dagestan Magomed - Sultan Magomedov opened and conducted work of the session. 19 questions of different character were discussed during the session.

The vice-chairman of the Committee of international relations of the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Kamil Davdiev made a report about guarantees of equality of the political parties presented in the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan, during their coverage by media of the Republic of Dagestan.

According to him the main purpose of the bill consists in the further development of political system, strengthening of democratic institutes, development of measures for legal maintenance of a civilized competition among parties in interest of the society of the republic.

The chairman of the Committee on economic policy of the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Vahmurad Kurchaev made a report about strategic planning in the republic. The bill also was approved by the Parliament and accepted in the second reading.

The deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Gazimagomed Abdullaev made a report about long-service pension for the persons occupying posts of state civil service of the Republic of Dagestan.

According to the reporter, this bill is developed with the aim of realization of the well-founded, effective and long-term social and economic policy on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan directed at increase of level and quality of life of the population.

Bills “About a long-service pension for the persons occupying posts of state civil service of the Republic of Dagestan” and “About veterinary science” also were approved by the Parliament.

The great interest of the deputies was caused by one of the main points of the session, about execution of the republican budget of Republic Dagestan for 2009.

The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Dagestan Abdusamad Gamidov and the Chairman of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan Malik Bagliev were the main reporters on this question.

Further the deputies continued discussion of other questions of the session.
