Magomedsalam Magomedov, who arrived as a member of Russian official delegation in Azerbaijan, laid a wreath at the grave of Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honorary Burial and flowers at the grave of Zarifa Aliyeva, the spouse of Heydar Aliyev and the mother of the President Ilham Aliyev. The President of Dagestan also visited the Alley of Martyrs in Nagorny Park in Baku and laid a wreath at the memorial devoted to the memory of heroes of Azerbaijan.

Then the meeting with the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade took place in Baku. “I appreciate the contribution of the spiritual leader of the Caucasian Muslims Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade in development and strengthening of friendship between Azerbaijan and Dagestan”, – M. Magomedov noted.

During official visit to Baku Magomedsalam Magomedov carried on negotiations with the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. “The most priority are the projects covering agriculture, tourism and hydropower engineering”, – the head of Dagestan noted.
