Makhachkala, September, 2, 2010. On September, 1, the President of the Republic of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov visited Kizlyar where he took part in the solemn opening of the school № 1 of Kizlyar after major overhaul.

The Minister of Education and Science of Dagestan Magomedfazil Azizov, the deputy head of the Administration of the President and the Government of Dagestan Musalan Tahmanov, the head of the municipal formation “Kizlyar" Vyacheslav Palamarchuk and others took part in the ceremony.

Opening the solemn event, the President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov welcomed and congratulated all townsmen with Knowledge Day: “The 1st of September is the holiday in Russia. This day has special significance for children who come to school for the first time. You will remember this day.

Every year in school is an important step, a stage of preparation for the future life where knowledge is necessary for you. I’m sure that knowledge will be the main capital for the young generation in the near future.

Dear teachers! I congratulate you with the beginning of the new school year!

It is planned to open 14 educational institutions on 4700 student's places and 10 sports halls in 2010. The Republic of Dagestan is the republic of youth. We will continue to build educational institutions. It is very important to update educational standards of the education and to adopt new technology in educational process.

The school in the republic should give deep understanding of ethnic and cultural traditions of the people of Dagestan to student. The school should educate patriotism, equality, friendship, mutual aid, mutual respect, harmony and peace.

Then the head of the municipal formation "Kizlyar" Vyacheslav Palamarchuk congratulated all gathered with Knowledge Day.

When the solemn ceremony came to the end, the President of Dagestan, the Mayor of Kizlyar and the Minister of Education and Science of Dagestan examined classrooms of the restored school.
