Makhachkala, December 29, 2009. On December, 22-23 the Russian competitions on track and field athletics among students "Stars of student's sports” passed in Moscow. 45 commands took part in the tournament. The Dagestan command was represented by students of Dagestan State University and Dagestan State Technical University.

1st place on shotput was occupied by Navrat Hamidova, 3rd place in run on 60 metres won Salim Gamzatov. He also received the official invitation to the international competitions “Russian winter” which will take place on February, 7 in Moscow.
