Plantations of grapes in Dagestan to extend

According to information, provided by representatives of regional department of agriculture of Dagestan, planting of new vineyards is in progress. Leading specialists reported that more than 400 ha of vineyards would be planted this year. Should be noted that last year grape crop totaled only 26.000 tonnes as a result of unfavorable weather conditions. In general, all the area of vineyards in the republic totals 3667 ha.
