Makhachkala, January 16, 2008. People of all over the world have responded the call of the Palestinians. Protest actions against the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip which inhabitants are in misery have been held in the number of countries.

Such meetings will take place practically in all the mosques of the Republic of Dagestan. On Friday in the central Djuma – mosque of Makhachkala there will be read a sermon on violence banning and need for peaceful life.

Besides, one plans to collects means in support of the Palestinian people. Organizers and participants of the meeting will prepare a corresponding message to the President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev and to all the Arabians.

Representatives of the Palestinian Diaspora are expected to take part in the meeting, the press secretary of the mufti of Dagestan Magomed Omarov has informed the RIA "Dagestan". As to Omarov, the action will take place at 13:00 at the Central mosque building.
