Makhachkala, September 22, 2008. On September, 21st, the branch EMMPU of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of geothermy of Dagestan Scientific Centre RAS have hosted the II School of young scientists “Urgent problems of development of renewable power resources”.

The school has been included into the list of scientific and scientific and technical meetings, conferences, organized by Russian Academy of Sciences in 2008, and also into the list of the basic actions of the Russian Academy of Sciences on realization of the international Year of the planet of Earth in 2008.
 
According to V.Milov, within the framework of the School one plans to discuss the current state of the most actual problems of the theory and applied aspects: first of all, geothermal energy in a combination with solar, wind power and thermal pumps, a problem of place renewable energy resources in the energy balance of the country and its regions.
