Mukhu Aliev has been invited to the Russian Federation President inauguration

Moscow, May 9, 2008. Wednesday, May, 7, in Moscow, in the Big Kremlin palace there has taken place an assumption of office ceremony of President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Dmitry Medvedev was inaugurated as Russia's third president on Wednesday in a glittering and solemn ceremony in front of some 2,500 guests at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow as Vladimir Putin stepped down after eight years as head of state. Heads of executive, legislative and judicial branches of RF federal government, members of the Federal Government, deputies of both chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, heads of subjects of the Russian Federation, foreign diplomatic missions, public representatives have been invited to the ceremony in the Kremlin.

The inauguration ceremony began at 11:45 a.m. Moscow time (07:45 GMT) and after the outgoing Putin had made a short speech, Medvedev swore an oath on a copy of the Russian Constitution. He then addressed the assembled dignitaries as Russia's new president. The entire ceremony was shown live on national television and the Internet.

Dagestan delegation has included the President of the Republic of Dagestan Mukhu Aliev, the national poetess of Dagestan Fazu Alieva, the chairman of the Election Committee RD Magomed Khalitov, and thechairman of the Public Chamber RD Abdulmuslim Murtazaliev.

The President of the Russian Federation D.Medvedev, in particular, has declared: “… My major mission is the further development of civil and economic freedoms, creation of a new, ample opportunities for self-realization of citizens - citizens, free and responsible for the personal success, as well as for prosperity of all the country …”
