Khasavyurt, November 28, 2008. The photo-exhibition “Humanity in the objective focus”, organized under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross has opened yesterday, November, 27, in Khasavyurt central municipal library named after R.Gamzatov.
 
The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Dagestan Orsola Lussinoli has declared a speech on aims of the action and acquainted all the attendees with the high-ranking visitors.

The well-known photographer Kamil Chutuev, who presented his works at the exhibition expressed his opinion about the role of holding such actions and speculated on several his works.

It is worth noting that the exhibition included works by Mussa Saadulaev from the Chechen Republic, by Kamil Chutuev from Dagestan, by Zakhir Ozdoev from Ingushetia, by Evgeniy Kayudin from Kabardino-Balkaria and Vladimir Melnik from Moscow. The exhibition has been devoted to the Northern Caucasus – a small corner of the planet with its unique traditions and customs, severe beauty of mountains, original culture and character of peoples.

The ten- day photo-exhibition, held in the Chechen Republic, will also take place in Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria after its closing in Khasavyurt.
