Makhachkala, September 5th. The agency had already reported on the preparatory work for the investment forum «Sochi-2007» conducted by some republican enterprises. The press conference with the deputy minister of economy RD, director of the Republican Exposition Center "Dagestan - Expo" Bulat Mamayev has been devoted to discussion of investment projects that the regional enterprises prepare to present at the Forum. In particular, Mamayev informed the journalists, the preparatory work is coming to the end. Republican projects will be demonstrated on the spacious platform, occupying an area of 142 sq. meters. Let us remind, Dagestan will submitt eight investment projects, among which there is a project pursued by Makhachkala Sea Trading Port «Construction of the buoy-based offshore terminal». The initiators of the investment project are the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Makhachkala Sea Trading Port”, the national Iranian tanker company and the Company "Lukoil". Realization of the project will allow accepting and berthing for cargo operations vessels of bigger tonnage up to 75000 tons and will allow decreasing transportation costs for oil and mineral oil in 2,5 times.
