Makhachkala, July 5th. A TV channel broadcasting in all the Dagestan languages will soon be opened in Dagestan Union of journalists. This project is created along with the German Fund named after Conrad Adenauer. The Fund supports process of Europe integration. It develops political education, develops methods of the scientific analysis as a basis of political action, gives grants to talented young scientists and investigates history of Christian -Democratic movement. The idea of the joint project occurred during a visit of German delegation to Dagestan. Then Ali Kamalov, the chairman of Dagestan union of journalists, paid a return visit to Germany. There he managed to adjust friendly and business relations with the German Fund. According to Ali Kamalov, there will be shot joint films, thematic TV programs on the life, culture, customs of Dagestanis and the Germans. The project is mainly aimed at preserving of language and culture. TV programs will be translated into all the national languages of Dagestan. Within the project’s framework there will be planned trips of the Dagestan documentarians to Germany for studying German culture. The television studio will be located on the 11th floor of the media complex on the outskirts of Makhachkala.
