Makhachkala, June 20th. A delegation of the French industrial company "Mecamidi" has arrived with a working visit to Makhachkala. It specializes in manufacturing of hydraulic turbines, developing of projects, constructing and operating of hydroelectric power stations. The delegation "Mecamidi" has included a director on development in the CIS countries Natasha Moren and a director on engineering workings Pierre Flipo. The visit is aimed at surveying of a site of the future hydroelectric power stations, and discussing of ready offers, calculations and development on a number of projects of small and medium hydroelectric power stations. Within the limits of the meeting the group of experts of the OJSC "The Dagestan Regional Generating Company", "Mecamidi" and the LLC "Energostroy LTD" has made a trip to operating Gergebilskaya and Gunibskaya hydroelectric power stations and have examined section lines of Tsudakharskaya (Levashinski district) and Magarskaya (Charodinski district) hydroelectric power stations. It has been not the first visit of the French engineers to Dagestan. In November of the previous year a head of the company "Mecamidi" Jean Zekri visited the republic and discussed questions of cooperation of two companies in the field of designing small and average hydroelectric power stations. As a result of the previous year’s visit there was signed of a memorandum of cooperation in the field of development of water power resources of Dagestan between the OJSC "The Dagestan Regional Generating Company" and "Mecamidi". In February of the current year "Mecamidi" has won a contest for the right to execute works according elaboration of the design documentation for construction Tsudakharskaya hydroelectric power station on the Kazikumukhskoe Koysu River and construction of Rutulskaya hydroelectric power station on the Lalaan River.
